I think it's a random number generator as I got 103123 close to noon.
Doesn't seem particularly random to me. About 3 hours later in terms of entry and you got a number that's about 800 higher. Seems like a reasonable amount of people who would enter in that timeframe, and if it's truly random it seems more likely that you wouldn't get a number that close.

Especially since everyone is reporting confirmation numbers that are using the 100,000 number as a starting point with variation occurring only in the thousands place and lower. If it were truly random we'd see numbers all over the place, it would be an insane run of luck for them all to be clustered so closely.

How long do batches of HF's "shelf beers" typically hang around? I'll be there in two weeks, hoping there's still some Anna left then but I don't know if that's realistic or not.

Hm I seem to have a different recent batch 8/5/16, wonder if extended aged was only on the shelf for a bit and replaced by yet another Anna batch? The one I drank the other night was 5/10/16. I have no idea what I'm doing?

If I recall correctly this is correct. Was designated as "extended" on the site for a week or so then that designation disappeared.

Forgive my ignorance on the subject, but does HF typically do bottle releases each week?
Well if you count the growler fills then yes but as far as bottles go I would say every other week on average.

That makes sense. I've always been an admirer from afar and have traded for several HF bottles, I've just never been and I've never had a "hook up" persay, so I've not paid attention to how they handle the releases of their more common beers.

Thanks for the info!

New batch is great, cracked it side by side with an Anna from Sept of 2015, gotta say the 2015 bottle might have been the best Anna I've ever tasted. Moar Anna for errybody

THIS!!! I opened one at the close to one year mark a couple weeks ago, still fantastic.

I have one bottle left and I'm waiting to open it on new years...maybe.

it really varies... depending on what beers are ready... there's almost always bottles of one of their non limited options these days... as for limited stuff, it really could be back to back weeks or skip a couple weeks... they do last a lot longer than they used to... as long as you are not looking to always hit some super limited release, you can always go up there and get great beer in bottles or growlers and it's a really amazing experience.
