I'm an auditor for a living and the **** you guys analyze and speculate over is indeed impressive, even by my standards.

You guys keep saying the word lottery.

Lottery implies that everyone who enters has a fair shake at getting in. Go back and look at the verbiage of the Ann and Flora Cuvee releases and you'll see the terms "Winners and Winning" were used frequently as if a 2011 aids free version of Charlie Sheen wrote the descriptions. Also take note that ticketstoday ran both of those selections and that they closed on a set day with winners announced later that same day.

Now read the CW description again and look at the contrast in how this is being run (waiting 4 days to announce winners, ran through their own site, no use of the word lotto/winners).

This is a selection of people who will embody the purpose Shaun is seeking. I honestly believe come Monday that all the loyal heavy hitters who make routine trips up to Greensboro and have been for the past 4-5 years will be ushered in while your mom/neighbor/co-worker/mailman who you convinced to enter will be the happy donors of $1 to VT kids in need.

Then again I could be completely wrong. Either way, good luck to everyone as registration closes in less than 2 hours.

I was going to comment last week when the picture of the barn doors was posted for speculation that if this group put as much effort into finding bigfoot, we would have found him by now... but then I realized how wrong so many of the speculations are on here...

as I've been saying... people put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5

The CW page mentions a "random drawing in order to become a member." Wouldn't that lead one to assume that a significant percentage of the slots will be drawn by lottery? Why even open it to the public if that weren't the case?

Either way, I can't wait for ski season. Time to burn all my vacation days.

It was good! Opened up fairly tart, finishing with some dark fruit, but as it warmed up it became a bit acetic. Still really enjoyed it, and was impressed how it held up.

Twilight of the Idols (from November '15 or thereabouts) wasn't doing especially great earlier this month when I opened one, but there's been some bottle variation on the ones I've had. Curious what the experiences of others are with aging Twilight (both this batch, and in general). Still have a few left.

Happy to donate the $1 but if this is the case thats very lame. So because I just make polite convo, thank them for doing what they do and go about my business instead of hanging off the employees' nuts i have no chance? I have a spray painted screw top hf growler, can I trade that in for membership?
