I'm blind!

At 3:00 PM, we walked right inside behind the one couple in line. No GoM, 1 Art PP and great looking blue tasters. Had a Mary on the house and a couple of bottles/drafts split a few ways, then on to Pro-Pig. It's crazy how so many releases go from hellish to mellow once the initial clusterfuck breaks out.

Just got back to Waterbury and couldn't wait to dive into this thread (no service at the Farmshed). Was told by someone I'm assuming is a manager (who was handing out tickets for a free pour of Mary because of the second bottle limit reduction) that given today, Art will be lottery-only in the future. I was just bummed it wasn't available for on-site consumption like I was told it would be when I called yesterday.

All due respect but how in the world could this not have been spotted a mile away?

Which part? Seems like they were fairly prepared for the re-sellers/rafflers. They can't necessarily shut down the muling unless it's obvious behavior (paying people in the parking lot and telling them what to fill out on their orders, etc.).

My **** lord buddy is dying right now. He presold an Art and a GoM, below current secondary. Spent that money booking a nice hotel in Stowe. Turns out his mule that he brings to HF had an expired id. They spent the early part of the day at the DMV in Burlington, by the time they left there Art was down to 1pp and GoM was sold out. So he got 2 Art and a bunch of shelf stuff and is pissed. He has to refund the money for the GoM, and is calling the trip a waste. He got 2 Art and some amazing fills. Never go full **** lord.
