I know it goes without saying that the staff is world class and every experience I have is amazing up there, but today was incredible on their part. I feel bad for all the crap that had to go on this morning and the herds of people they had to deal with. Even despite all this, the staff was the best and made sure everyone (that was there for the right reasons) had a fantastic time, myself included.

Great surprise and treat getting CD 6 and Saison Bernice in the tasting room. Bottle line was long, but moved at a solid pace. Swung by Parker afterwards for an amazing Malibu Barbie, and now heading back home.

Thanks as always to AutumnBeerLove and the staff for another great day on the hill. It's much appreciated.

Eh eh eh I already clarified that I wasn't fronting for mustard-based BBQ. which is what they serve in the Midlands (i.e. Columbia and environs). The bbq in the Pee Dee is much more similar to what you get in the Piedmont and Eastern NC regions than what's popular in the other parts of SC.

My actual BBQ preference is the stuff one of my colleagues at work makes for parties and cookouts - he's got one of those big Carolina Cookers that you pull behind a truck, and cooks the whole pig then we just tear the meat off with tongs. No sauce, no mincing, just some seasoning and juice while it cooks.

Mustard BBQ is fantastic and I have no shame sayin it

1. Great job by the staff. Lots of people but the bottle line was moving at an impressive pace.
2. Onsite offerings are always great these days
3. Happy to see so a lot of you out there even if it was just a brief hello
4. Good seeing most people here being understanding.

Considering last year the Art lasted a few days and this was before the no double dipping the following day rule came into place... and the fact that it has not exactly been busy up there recently... they handled it all really well IMO. Unfortunately, there is no way to please everyone. They lowered limits a day prior in advance, and they gave drink tokens to those that were hit with the 1 bottle limit.

I wish there was a way to prove that the obvious business mules were exactly that, but you can't.

Not sure how someone can fairly criticize their efforts... there will be more awesome beer next week.

This is no time for measured and eloquent responses Os! As merely a spectator we are here for outrage and horror stories.

(In all seriousness though the HF staff is world class not just as employees but as good people too, I am sure they did the best they could. It's the **** lords who turn these releases into bad experiences, not the staff.)
