That batch was Flora-level good from the day it was released. I drank all mine :( I think it's better than Flora b6. I like Florence but I don't universally love Florence like some people. That batch is NOTICEABLY different and wildly better than other recent Florence batches.

agree. **** is mind blowingly good. have a few bottles left and am very happy

I'm gonna be heading up Thursday. S&S #3 is on for the first time in a long time. Anyone got any intel? Very much looking forward to trying it.

I saw that too, looking forward to trying this. The "S&S" series I've had have all been amazing so I'm assuming this will be as well.

You can always do a small taster first if you want a better idea before buying.

Had a great trip to HF on Saturday. I was surprised by how quiet the place was at open. When I was picking up bottles I was the only person in the retail space. Was kind of a funny experience, thinking back to my first handful of trips up there when we'd sit in the zig-zagging line for a few hrs.

I had a pour of Earl on nitro which was a real treat, and was in & out in <1 hr. Looking forward to cracking a S&S 6 later this evening!

The copy for CD17 conjured up a memory of another mention of 'citrus coolship'. Curious about 'Cuvee de Tarpey'- bottled around 11 months ago, much like CD17, but with 4 beer components rather than 5 (this may be a false distinction, since it says '4 threads aged in wine barrels'). I wonder if that was just a working title for the same beer or something entirely different.

Anyone driving up from jersey for a cannonball run Wednesday and want a passenger? I want to go but can't put the miles on my lease.

For those keeping track at home, two straight Wednesdays have now seen b1 Cherry Flora and Being & Time. Nice reward for the midweek trip up to HF.

I'd be interested in hearing how busy it is up there today. Sure hoping CD17 and M&C last through Saturday at those limits.
