Hey all, will be travelling up at the end of April. Tips on cool bed and breakfast lodging in the area? Wife and I plan to leave Boston Thursday/Fri to head to Vermont for the weekend. Do some hikes, HF, hang out, maple syrup stuff?, any other activity tips?

Is there a Vermont travel thread?
Go to Montreal

Anyone know how long the previous batch of GoM took to bottle condition? No idea if that would be a good estimate of when it might be released, but I'm curious anyway.

Any word on how much E. might be left? Hoping to get lucky later this week, though not holding my breath.

Most of a skid was there today at open. I would be shocked if it was gone this week.

My first time back since the tasting room opened and it is such a great experience. The surprise vintage bottles are a nice touch, that b1 flora cherry was incredible. I wish I lived closer, but my bank account is happy I don't!

thanks for the info. also, i love your avatar. one of my biggest music-related regrets was not seeing jason molina live. had tix to see him after josephine came out and couldn't find anyone to join me and so i bailed.

I hope this is the case. Holding out hope there will still be some E. left when I'm up there next Wednesday.

According to Untappd, Batch 1 (never released) Cherry Flora onsite.

Edited: been corrected, it's 500ml bottle and has been verified on the B1 authenticity.

looking at all the untappd pictures the label and the bottle look exactly the same as the flora cherry bottles that were release to the general public a few months ago. Not to say that it's not batch 1, but When flora cherry was originally brewed (2013) where they using those bottles yet?

You are missing the fact that the photos show a 500ml bottle (same bottle style as Aaron, Flora Blueberry, etc).

Has anybody had Shirley Mae? Thinking of trying to trade for some since I love Everett but wanted to see if anybody had thoughts in it before I pull that trigger.

I'm not the biggest Everett fan but I liked Shirley Mae a lot. It's really flavorful for the ABV though obviously a bit on the thin side compared to Everett. I also think it seemed roastier than Everett too.

I haven't, but I really want to try it. The lower ABV stuff really intrigues me as I am trying to lose weight.

I was in the exact opposite camp - really enjoy Everett, did not like Shirley Mae. When I had it, I found it to be thin and lacking.

I love Everett and love Shirley Mae. SM was great on nitro yesterday. I could easily sit at a bar and drink 15 of those. To me, SM really tastes like Everett light but is still without a doubt in the same vein. I really love the lower ABV stuff HF does anyway though.

Wait a minute. You guys mean to tell me that taste is subjective and that some of you enjoy a beer while others do not? How can I truly decide if it's good or not with so much disparity?

Oh wait, I don't give a ****.

Carry On. Just Indy being Indy.

The E. we had on site this past weekend was drinking very nice. Surprised by how the beer developed such a complexity as it warmed up. This is going to age well, me thinks.
