oh, I know!If you could make your own Sunday gravy this wouldn't be a problem. Freezes beautiful!
my girlfriends parents (from Long Island but moved down here a couple years ago) make it and give us a few quarts from every batch for the freezer.

Seconded on Nelson. By far my favorite of the HF pales. I won't say it's the best Nelson dominant beer until I try Alpine's fresh from the source.
First time going where I'm expecting I'll spend more on growler fills than bottles.
Have you had Coriolis?.. Hopefully Fear and Trembling lasts until Friday!!!

don't think I ever had Motueka single hop. Nelson is my fav... still, IMHO the best Nelson beer there is
According to Untappd you haveI actually didn't like Motueka that much - one of my least favorite HF single hop pales IIRC. Still good, of course...
oh wow... I don't remember that. I haven't used Untappd in some time.
yep. I use untappd strictly so I know what I've had/not had.The only reason I still do is so I can remember this ****, there's no way I can without it.

I don't rate but will make a comment if a beer is really good (or reallly bad...)

Wow, how far we've come in the last few days.
We've gone from hounding the staff at HF (semi-jokingly) about CD13 availability to the validity of using the term gravy in the context of pasta (confirmed) to the precursor for the new app called, "What's Been In Os' Mouth?"
Allow me to clear it up. Twilight is 6 per visit. Sorry for confusions. Believe website has also been updated to reflect that.So is Twilight of the Idols 6 per person per day, rather than being a total per person limit? HF social media seems to indicate the former (6 per person per day), and it's also the only limited bottle on the HF retail page that doesn't have a link to the bottle release policy next to it (both Fear & Trembling and maple syrup do).
Yeah, someone (frankloydleft?) brought one to a share at MarkJC1018's, and while good, it was a bit too oaky for most people. I found too much sweetness, malt character, and bourbon in a IPA-style beer.Anyone tried Madness & Solitude yet and have any thoughts on it? I'm normally not huge on bourbon barrel-aged IPAs but this one definitely intrigues me, if not no other reason than how great its base beer is. Although if I had to bet my reaction is going to be the same as it is for a lot of the better examples of this style (like Founders Doom): "yeah this beer is good but I like the non-barrel-aged version better".
Unfortunately you'll never get that chance since only GF is making it now. Still good to very good (at times) but no longer hitting amazing. cc: benbikes4beer

I 100% agree with Ataraxia. It was definitely "unique" and the hint of vanilla added some complexity, but I don't think it's something I'd seek out again. I knew I felt a great disturbance in the force. Safe travels!Anyone going to be there today? We drove until 4am then crashed for a few hours of sleep near Springfield. Cruising up 91 aiming to be there around opening.
Julian, please.CD13 is the truth. Up there with Sarrasin as my favorite HF beer. And it pairs perfectly with the cheese plate.
