Yeah Elaborative 4 available as an on-site "preview". Since it's so low ABV they see also letting groups get one after already splitting a CD bottle. Citrusy and a bit creamy, very nice beer.

ah! very cool...

CD13 is the truth. Up there with Sarrasin as my favorite HF beer. And it pairs perfectly with the cheese plate.

Love that Alpine cheese, whatever it's called. CD15 still there for on-site as well?

Afternoon (3pmish I think) because we are going to do Waterbury for the morning/lunch. Then Parker for dinner after.

plz report on Twilight #/10 bang rating too?
I was supposed to go out to HF this morning, but....then my wife told me she booked a "girl's day" and I realized that meant I would be taking my daughter to HF...she was like...

Good chance I open one with breakfast tomorrow, if so I'll post my thoughts.

Vanilla and coffee on the nose and throughout the sip. Cinnamon at the end. Really smooth on the palate overall great beer. This batch of double Galaxy and Nelson though are on super point. Elaborative 4 was super tart and a little puckering! Hope everyone enjoys their thanksgiving brews. Cheers!

Anyone able to compare the two Clara releases from July and August? The August release had the Foudres (or was it Puncheon) in the description and was wondering if there was a discernible difference between the two.

Just an incredibly well-balanced beer, really the total opposite of how most breweries would go about using these adjuncts. The flavors are all there but the star of the show is the base porter itself. I think it really shows the sort of care and attention to detail Shaun puts into his beers with regards to balancing flavors and creating a pleasant drinking experience as opposed to just assaulting your senses.

Number45, any idea when you were thinking about hitting HF tomorrow? Hoping to be there around 3-4 to get fills before closing, then we are headed to PP for the rest of the day/night. I plan on eating at least one pizza, maybe more depending on how long we post up. And more wings, definitely a lot more wings.

I'm thinking of trading for some HF porters/stouts for my dad for Christmas, since he loves these styles and hasn't had the chance to try any HF versions.

Twilight of the Idols 2015 sounds like a good place to start. Have recent batches of Everett been good? I recall having one a bottle a couple years ago that was phenomenal. Any other fairly easy to get but delicious HF bottles I should seek out? Thanks guys.

Pretty sure I can help you out. Would an everett, geneaology, and twilight do the trick? Could grab a fear and trembling too if you think he would like that.

Prob will be there about 2-3. I'm out for Parker,

Having Twilight now. Agree completely with this. Nothing is overdone. Porter shines with slight vanilla and coffee. It's just absolutely ******* perfect.

Prob will be there about 2-3. No Parker for me. Would love to meet up. Get there 2:30 or 3 if possible. Meet me and the CD15 is on me.

Everett has been great. Don't hesitate to get that for your father.

My wife and I are looking to hit the Hill right around then. It would be nice to finally put a face to some of the TalkBeer family.

I'll be there, wearing a red NWAlpine pullover. Look for the guy who looks like he's about to go climbing but has too big of a gut for it.
