Sarrasin tastes just fine (lovely, really) as of about a month ago, and I don't get the goozie comparison but ymmv. We had it just after a 20th anniv blend and the funk character was way different and less acidic than any gueuze I've had.

It was actually originally two cases of Anna. Actually, that was someone else, wasn't it. This was just a case of Anna and a Sarrasin.
I actually got a pretty good deal for my Utopias in the end. DDG plus Schaerbeek Kriek plus a few other bottles.

So dumb they are serving all their old beers. I bet they'll be flat and stale. Def not worth it. So dumb.

Late last night I was enjoying the most recent batch of Birth of Tragedy with a friend. Around 23:00 EST it happened......

Friend : " Hey looks like De Molen and HF used 25 year Bourbon Barrels "
Me : " WTF are you talking about "
Friend : " It's on the website "
Me : " Shut up , you're drunk, the website already got updated "

I was wrong. Flora Cuvee, out. Imperial Stout, in.

Flora Cherry

Yeah that's the one that was on the page a while ago and got removed. I think last time it was up it said "Imperial Buckwheat Stout," but I might be making that up.

I think you're making that up :D.

The bigger question remains....... What will become of Flora Cuvee....

There was definitely a De Molen collab Bourbon Imperial Stout on the page before the page disappeared for a few weeks. Dont recall if it said Buckwheat or if it mentioned 25 yr at the time.

Yeah, I just went back and looked, there was no mention of buckwheat, so clearly I'm just confusing that with the discussion of Sarrasin over the past page.
