Jimmies rustled but sure got the conversation startedYou compalined. End of story. Not a big deal. I'm over it. So is everyone else. Time to move on![]()
bummed I can't do Zwanze...
You going to go to one of the NYC Zwanze events, or can't make it at all for Zwanze?
I think most understand this. But how much do those time/materials equate to? Maybe $2-3. I don't expect the beer to then be $27. Could they do that, sure. Is not doing it ok, sure. Like others mention it's more than a fair price for what you are getting imo. Now after he has maxed out capacity and been doing full production for awhile maybe I'd be more inclined to go with the he is spending less on labels/caps/glass/time etc to like to see a lower cost. When bigger craft places don't throw a bone to the consumers every now and again with a lower cost on a bigger bottle when it can be had in small format, it does rustle jimmies, but a small rustling

No you are not. That and the main retail page have their own individual bookmarks on my work PC. It's a constant reminder that I work to be able to afford beer (and shelter, food, etc.)Am I the only one who refreshes the Upcoming Bottle Release web page multiple times a day......?

Booooo!!!!
You've got a problem!
lol, how many you want ? Shoot me a PM
I'm pretty sure CD4 was $15 although I could obv be wrong. It was the same release as Ann and I believe Ann was $20.CD4 was $20, 2 yrs ago.
Liked special 750's at $20...much prefer $15/375mL than $30 for a 750.
Won't be buying this, easy pass.
QFTI scoffed at $30 for Le Sarrasin. Then I bought one and drank it, and it was IMHO the best beer HF ever made. Granted, I have no idea if I'll like cd10 as much, but I'm going to buy at least one to find out.
I do indeed! But that beer is ******* amazing and only getting better (so far, anyway...)
Same here. I'll buy whatever Tehz doesn't get. I've bought it up at every place I've seen it. 10 years later, I'm gonna grab open golden blend every other month! I freaking love that beer.
(Please do not change the price of Flora)
Very simple: beer is under priced. We are all a living proof of that.the price of beer just seems to be increasing in general. Maybe it's because of popularity, maybe it's because of more competition for ingredients, maybe it's increased overhead. I don't know why. Some brewery in brooklyn just released their first bottle, a wine ba dry stout, for $20 a 375... and it's not even very good. I'm not saying $30 for a 750 isn't pricey but at least you know it will be anywhere from pretty good to amazing. Certain unnamed breweries in California charge $30-40 for bottles of beer that didn't spend 1/3 of the time CD 10 did in barrels. Just saying.

If it comes out every year I'm assuming it's a year or probably less. How long does alesmith age their beers?
Either way, my point is not to disparage expensive beers from California... I love many of them. I just don't think $30 is that unreasonable for CD 10 given what some other top breweries charge.
That's a bummer man.no Zwanze, no Kane... niece's bday
