I was totally rustled about El Cat. Still am. I still seriously do not see how me asking what Shaun was mad about now was trolling, but ok..

I've actually heard the same from someone. Told me 6 drinking amazing, 7 drinking like bandaids.

That's insane. When I first got 6 it was just OK, I ended up trading most of it away for peanuts. Then I tried 7 and it was amazing, I clawed and fought to get another bottle or 2. I haven't had CD6 now in forever and I keep hearing it's drinking great. Totally regret practically giving it all away. Sitting on one last bottle of CD7 that I've been looking forward to and this isn't the news I want to hear.....

Both Art and Cantillon lambic age well, so what's the deal? How do sours get infected?

For what it's worth, all 3 reviews seem to be related to the same bottle.

Yeah, I had the same thought. Could it be a tasting group with a HF vendetta? Though I don't see the point of anyone ever doing something like that. So it could be contamination of a bottle, perhaps a few (for a 300 bottle release, that's a decent amount). Counterpoint is that the last review before these guys was written a week ago and he appears to have enjoyed it thoroughly. So I was wondering if there were any other recent reports floating around as I've been wanting to trade for this beer for some time now.

OK I'm gonna write it off as some kind of fluke. I'm pretty sure there's no vendetta, because the bottle came from the Collected Works.
