I'm going to Hill Farmstead in a few weeks. Where can I find info on what cans will be available and limits?

Does anyone know the story behind this date stamp on Florence? This was gifted to me and I’m chilling it to drink with Kraftster tjis afternoon.

Edit: not sure if the pic shows this but this looks like a sticker over a regular date stamp.

That was a Florence variant he released Aged in stainless (no oak). I personally loved it but not sure how it has held up.

Did not like this batch fresh, whereas 4/2015 and 10/2015 are some of the best Florence dates I can recall

As already mentioned, it was aged in stainless tanks.

I wasn’t crazy about it when I last had it but it’s been at least a year I think. It was very, very light. That said, it’s kind of tough to make that comparison because regular Florence is so good.

Anyone know of any DD options out of the Barton\Glover area for FoFA?

Fresh this was just okay. This was during a run of Florence releases that were so on point. I did open one 6 months ago or so and it was much better.

Certainly a good beer because of its baseline hill characteristics but not on standard Florence level. Tasted a little metallic to me. Thanks for opening, Greg!

Looks like they'll be open regular hours that week 7/4-7/7 according to the retail calendar on their website

I'm sure this has been covered before so bare with me. I'm headed up in 3 weeks and am looking for nearby hikes (preferably with a nice viewpoint) and local swimming holes/lakes. I've already done Shadow lake swims, so maybe somewhere else. Thanks in advance!

Mt Pisgah has a great, steep hike with a beautiful view halfway up. I'm sure there are swimming opportunities near there, or Caspian Lake is near HF/Willey's.
