Had a great day out at Hill Farmstead with Juicy Jay AKA bird22, and the Kentucky King. Here is a 2013 Vera Mae, oysters, cheese plate, and olives. The food and company was just as quality as the vintages. All the staff I met and talked to were super friendly and informative. And the whole drive up with all the snow and beautiful country was straight out of a dream for me. 10/10 would bang again!

That CD 19 is one fine piece of ace.

Definitely one of my favorite hill one-offs from the last while. Subtle sweetness lends an herbal character. Really nice.
Edging pretty hard in advance of Thursday. Hoping it and/or Arthur Puncheon will be kind enough to stick around until I visit.

Cheese plate and olives were stellar on Thursday...

I should mention I drank a '14 & '16 Arthur a month or so ago. Some loss in intensity/vibrance with the '14 leveled it out into a much more enjoyable beer. '16 didn't seem very good in comparison; more tart and sulfury.
