Had a chance to share these two tonight...words cannot describe Akmel Nuri. Good lord. Please, please, continue these single-barrel GoM variants. Had a much nicer pour of this one, but preferred it to Kieni.

Clover was great as expected, but I probably would rather have a bottle of Anna, Arthur or Florence just for convenience and lack of hype. Nose didn't wow me, but extremely complex in the flavor, very winey, which to me somewhat detracts from the subtleties of its components. Still friggin great, just not my favorite HF wine-BA beer.

That GoM tho.

Yea man, I haven't cracked open my Kieni yet but this is the best coffee stout I've ever had buy a mile. I'm optimistic we will see more of these given how well they've turned out.

Remember when all Arthur was put in a puncheon or oak barrel, bottled in a 750 and only cost $10?

That extended aging premium.

On Friday I opened a mini vertical of 2012 stainless, 2012 Puncheon, 2013 Puncheon and 2014 Foudre. Drastic differences between the 2012 stainless and puncheon fermented. Both puncheon vintages were similar, with slight differences in brett aromatics and acidity. 5/14 Foudre fermented is sublime right now - funky, massive citric qualities and bone dry.

I'll be visiting the brewery on Friday to pick up my collected works bounty. Fingers crossed for Being and Time being available - its been escaping me, since the first round of CW.

I second hoping for Being and Time on site during my upcoming visit, but with all the on site options lately I'm sure I'll be thrilled no matter what's on.

I was there last week (first time at HF!), and it looks like they've been allotting a certain number of Being and Time bottles to be available each day - they sold out while I was there Friday, but reappeared on the list Saturday.

Sarcasm or did I miss something?

The Future is Now! Well, not entirely. We bottled up the latest batch of one of our favorite Grassroots beers, Brother Soigné, in January of this year.

We must have had warmer weather months on our mind at the moment, and as a result, a portion of the bottles were date stamped incorrectly. While still a forward thinking beer, this bottle is not from the future. The correct bottle date is 2017 01 18. Cheers!

Remember when HF posted something accompanying an Art release about all future Arthur undergoing the same process the Art batch being released went through? Did I fabricate this memory?
