Hi,

Homebrewer from the Philippines, ex. New Zealand, now in the land of smiles. Hoping to chat and compare notes with others who share the hobby.

I run a group on Yahoo called Homebrewers in the Philippines. I know you are out there guys.

I have started malting grains myself and have some good notes and photos to share.

Great site. Look forward to being an active poster.

Guessing you're about as big a fan of San Miguel as I am of Coor's Light...

I see your old V8 emblem. I remember when I was a kid my dad had an old (1950's?) Ford truck with those emblem on the sides. Cool.

Don't get me wrong about San Miguel, they make some ok mega-swill, but the lack of variety here is shocking. I did see one dark beer Ceveza Negra by SMC, tasted ok, but hard to find outside of the bigger cities.

Living in New Zealand for the past five years I am used to a huge variety of styles and wonderful craft breweries to choose from. I also enjoyed homebrewing while in New Zealand and made a few dozen batches.

So the mission (impossible?) is to make my own here. Sounds like a dare hey?
