Just found this site today, and I'm already learning a lot. I'm a relative newbie - I've been using the Mr Beer LBK I got for Christmas a year ago, but I've only brewed from their kits, with hopped LME and the occasional little added envelope of unhopped. It may not be the best but it actually turns into beer, which amazes me! Just bought my first 5 gallon fermenter and I'm starting to experiment with different extracts, hops, steeping grains and secondary fermentation.
Anybody out there know a good place for equipment and supplies in the South STL City/South County area? Most of the places I've seen advertised are on the other end of town. Mail order's fine, but sometimes I'd like to be able to just walk into a place and look around.
