Just wanted to say 'hi' to everyone out there. I've been home brewing for a little over a year (just extract, I don't think I'm ready for the big leap into AG) and just started kegging last night (everyone was right - I'll never bottle again!). I've been checking this site out for a week or so now and I absolutely love it. I look forward to being a part of the community.

Welcome aboard. This place will save you money, labor and wasted wort. :D

No question is to silly to ask.
No answer is offered without conflicting opinions.

Ditto on the "extract-makes-a-fine-beer". When you're ready to make the leap, plenty of visual aids around here to lessen the intimidation. I do both.

AG when the weather is nice.
Extract and steeped grains when the weather is SH!t.

It's all good. :mug:

Where are you from in NE ohio, Im originally from Mentor....but I got the h*ll out of there and live in microbrew USA now (Colorado). I just stepped in the the AG arena, and Im lovin' it, hope you try it out one day.

I'm from Cortland (small town north of Youngstown in Trumbull County). I might be a little jealous that you escaped into microbrew USA, Yeast. Although I would miss the trips up to Great Lakes Brewery (Black Out Stout on tap :cross: ).

The co-worker who got me into home brewing just started to do AG so I'll have to help him out next time he brews and see what it's all about.
