I'm just starting out on what looks like a new obsession! I've wanted to try brewing beer for a long time and maybe it will keep me out of the mall. I will appreciate the support of the members of this board, seems like a lively crew. The only thing that scares me is, sounds like I may have to get a second job to support the habit!

I haven't tried a homebrew yet and look forward to the experience. Hopefully mine won't suck!

Welcome to HBT and good luck with your future brewing.

Welcome!

I'm going to have to make a template for this because of the recent influx of Zonies.
In Phoenix Metro...

You just missed a meeting last night!
Arizona Society of Homebrewers

Also check out these guys:

I am a member of both and I feel they are both worth checking out.

Finally keep an eye out for any BATF - Phoenix Events announced here:

such as the fine brewout we had this month...

BATF stands for Beer Acronym To Follow, because we are not as clever as SNIZZLE or GRABASS.

hello princess, I see you found the most informative and friendly brew site( if you hadn't guessed that already). grats on the obsession, you will finding it very rewarding, sometimes frustrating, and always a blast. remember as long as you like your beer, thats all that matters.
