Hey everyone,
I'm a new brewer and new member. Found this site while searching around and have been just reading and reading, absorbing as much as I can. I caught the bug a year or so ago, picked up some books learned as much as I could before I just had to do it. My first batch was an IPA, tasted great, but didn't prime it to carbonate. Being a beginner figured all was lose for that, but I've learned from that. Had a long pause from the first, work, life just gets in the way. Just brewed a APA the other day. In the primary right now. Can't wait, it smells so good.
I'm a mechanical engineer and work for the Army Corps of Engineer in Philadelphia. My job has me travel abit, but the best part is it had me in Portland, OR for quite sometime and I'll be heading back there for the next few years. Portland really opened me up to so amazing styles. I have no real preference for any style, just love beer and want to try it all.
Glad I found this site. I've already found some great tips and DIY projects that I want to do.
Cheers to everyone!
