I purchased a 10 gallon electric herms system and have brewed 4 batches so far. Everything is going pretty good so far. I have auber PIDs and the boil is my only issue. It seems I either have a boil way to rigorous, or it’s a nice rolling boil but as soon as the element kicks off it stops, and then picks up again when it’s back on. Is there a simple fix? A perfect temperature to set it at? Thanks in advance

That two second cycle time on Auber PIDs is a killer. I ended up switching to Auber EZBoil. It's plug in play to the Auber PID without modifications in wiring or panel cuts.

I keep my Auber pid on manual and just let it boil, no issues. If you want you can put in automatic mode and play with the level. I think I’ve done 90 or 95.

+ 1 on using the pid in manual mode. Then you can adjust it to whatever percentage you want to control the boil and the boil off rate. You can tone it down to lets say 65% or so and still maintain a rolling boil without a crazy amount boiling off.
