Well I was set to get a wee heavy made to age until Christmas with Denny's Favorite yeast. This yeast died in transit from ABS
, and with temps in the 100+ range I am afraid to order online as the same thing might happen. The LHBS carries nothing but dry yeast and the one in Fayetteville (20 mi.) carries only White Labs yeast and have no Scottish in stock.
I have WLP002 harvested and in the fridge, along with San Diego Super. I don't think SDS is it for this brew. What say ye as to a White Labs yeast I can call and see if they have in stock to use for a wee heavy which will be aged on whisky infused oak chips?
