Hello all! I have small problem and need a little advice. Currently I have a kegerator with one tap on it. I have a commercial setup right now but I want to be able to change between homebrew and commercial easily. soon I am going to get another handle but until then any advice would be welcome.

Thank you,
Tom

I have a two tap setup and one of them can swap between a cornie and a sankey fitting. In my opinion, you don't need true "quick" releases, since its ok if it takes 5 minutes instead of 5 seconds to change over. I basically mimicked how the homebrew hoses hook up to the cornie keg fittings, so you basically cut the hoses to your tap, and install the following to hook them up:

You will need the washers too:

So, basically you end up with one set of the first fitting that you install on the gas and beer line of your sankey tap that you already have. This tap will have short, 6 inch lengths of hose coming off each side of it and those mimic the hookups for the cornie fittings, so you just unscrew the beer and gas line from your sankey rig, and screw them on to your cornie fittings. Don't forget the washers!
