So I finished the stand for my bk and I purchased a bayou classic burner. These pictures are of the adjustable flow thing. I see two holes for screws but there weren't any with my kit. Only thing included was a spring which I assumed went behind the plate. Only problem is it seems to turn very easily. Anybody with experience know if I should have some screws in there or a different way the spring should be installed?

the spring is to create friction so just tighten it down more and it should be harder to turn. the screw hole is for the plates that do not have a spring. it has a slot for the screw

Ah. Ok thanks.it seemed to burn properly just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to blow up my garage

The screw it to lock the air adjustment in place once you get it where you want it. The screw isn't necessary, but could save you some time. You could likely find a good replacement at any hardware store, but you'd have to bring in the burner or make a good guess as to the screw size.

I'm not 100% sure were the spring goes, maybe under the screw so it can be tightened to a point were you can still move it, but will stay put after?

But all you really need to do is get the opening to a point where you have a good neutral flame of the level you'll be using and put a little bit of tape on it to keep if from flopping around.
