I have a half barrel brewha system that is very awesome. I have just recently started harvesting yeast. My process is dump trash out of bottom of conical when pitching temp is reached, then pitch. Once primary ferment is over I dump some more trash out of bottom. I stuck a sanitized mason jar under conical and got this’s, after a week in fridge. It came out like soft ice cream. I pitched 3 packages of wlp001 pure pitch. I know trash settles to bottom in harvested ale yeast but to me this looks like pure yeast and a lot of it. It is not sedimented like grain. It is creamy in appearance. Please let me know what you think.

It seems good, you can probably get it more pure, which will look more like a darker shade of milk, but I'd use that.
