A few weeks ago I got a new dual body regulator kit from kegconnections. I had a few problems with the equipment and lost my first tank of co2 fairly quickly. I discovered what I felt were the problems and kegconnections' customer service immediately sent replacement parts + extras.
After correcting any problems I had what I felt should be an airtight system. I checked and double checked the equipment for leaks and came up empty...
But the gas keeps on leaking. For the past few hours I had the co2 entirely shut off hoping to conserve gas for when I need it. I recently turned the gas on, after pouring a cold one, and noticed the gauge has continued to fall. I've lost almost 3/4 of my tank in the past few hours despite my efforts.
Is it possible that the co2 tank itself has a leak??? Has anyone experienced anything similar? The co2 tank was purchased new. But, this is going on 3 straight fills of co2, gone to waste, and it's getting extremely frustrating.
