long story short my first lager was a blunder. i need to get it in the bottle somehow and move on. its been in the primary in my fridge for 6 weeks and has reached FG. i did i diacetyl rest but never racked to a secondary. what should i do ? just prime and bottle ? or should i rack to secondary and let it sit longer ?

Prime, bottle, let carb, then lager for a few months. Don't give up on it! Also, RDWAHAHB.

Why do you feel it was a blunder?

I would rack it to a carboy & let it bulk age/ lager for a while. 1 month at 35 degrees or so will help to mellow it out. What's it taste like now ? What was the OG & FG ? Rule of thumb is one week for every .10 points of OG - ie: 1.050 OG would give you 5 weeks lagering.
