I found an AG recipe here on HBT and brewed it. The beer is freakin awsome and I can't get enough. Due to poor record keeping I can't find it to brew another batch.

If my memory is correct it consisted of...

American Ale Yeast
15.5 pounds of 2-Row
Some Chocolate and some black patent

I know this describes about every dark beer there is. I think the recipe was scaled down from a 10 gallon batch cause the measurements were weird. Like 15.6lbs 2-row.

Any help finding this brew would be appreciated. I've been searching and searching for the last week.

Can you go back to where you bought the grain bill and see if they have it in the user database?

The real problem is if you used a specialty malt like CaraMunich or CaraPils those would really make a beer taste different. A biscuit malt also gives an excellent toasty flavor and that too could have been in the beer. Obviously you have a very basic malt to begin with.... and a LOT of it. 15+ lbs is a huge grain bill and puts the beer into a "strong" category.
