So I am trying to decide on mounting my herms coil. I do want to have a temp probe or thermometer on the output of the coil. I did see a picture on here that was very nice, i think they used a tee or something so theconnections were pointing to the front but the coil came out the side?

Help me locate it! Thanks!

No idea which picture you saw, but here's an example (with a Morebeer male QD fitting in the foreground).

Cheers!

It looked like the coil exits were on the side of the kettle, and the valves and everything turned to face the front. It may have been like that, but with the tee attached to the kettle fitting with the valve coming off where the temp probe is in that picture. Then the temp probe going straight in the other side.

Would that 90 degree bend coming out of the coil make much difference?
