So in hind sight this was not very bright. In preperation of washing yeast, I bioled some glass jars with about 95% of the label removed in my brew pot. Unfortunately, the 5% of the label still on the jar was stuck with some pretty good adhesive. In the boil, the adhesive was freed from the jars and is now on my brew pot. Does anyone have any good tricks for removing some sticky areas? I've tried boiling water in the pot again to loosen the glue back up, but it's still a challenge to gather it all together when it clumps in tiny little balls.

Use barkeepers friend. It's all I use on stainless. Works awesome on cornys Or boil kettles and removes glue very easy. It comes in a powder in a can. Most supermarkets carry it. If not bed bath and beyond has it. After using it now I don't know how I lived without it. Makes cleaning regular pots and pans much easier.
