After a few months of research and gathering supplies I'm finally ready for my first 5 gallon AG batch! I figured I'd share my humble set up here since I got most of my info from reading the HBT forums.

Obviously I'm going to have to elevate the HLT a little bit more. I'm working with 10 gallon coolers and an 8 gallon boil kettle. My MLT has a SS false bottom and I've got about 5 feet of silicone tubing to put it all together. As far as fermenters I plan on using the sparklets style jugs the sell at Wal Mart (turns out they're PET!). My city is under heavy drought restrictions so I'd have to buy the water anyway, two birds, one stone. I'll be bottling for now and I got my grains and hops in today so I'm planning a brew day for some time this week!

Any thoughts/suggestions much appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks guys! I got the fever real bad. Brewing a Colombus IPA cause I feel like that makes sense for the opening day of America's past time.
