Why am I here? Two reasons:

1: You are #1 in google for "home brew forums". Congrats!

2: I am new to home brewing, and am looking for some help.

I have read a lot about brewing....there is a lot out there! My interest in this forum is to solicit the opinions of people who have experience in a venue in which I have none. So, for now, I will read, and when I have a question, I will read some more. When I ask a question, and I find it unlikely that I will find a question that has not already been asked AND answered, I will do my dead-level best to ensure it is not a typical question.

For your part, I would just like to thank the mods and admins for doing what they do to make this forum the #1 seed @ google.

I look forward to reading through your forum.

With Warm Regards,

Fish

Welcome! And, relax.. Brewing good beer is fairly easy (brewing the same beer time after time or an exact clone is another story). And, I think you'll find most people here are happy to help with any questions (asked before or anew). So, fire away!

Cheers!

Greetings and welcome to the obsession (err, forum). Indeed fire away with the questions. Most have probably been answered before but become lost in the threads. You'll either get a quick answer or a link to a previous post that contains the answer.

In time you'll hear it in your head: RDWHAHB!

wow.

Thank you for the warm welcome:) I come from an internet background that is not quite so inviting to newbies; but, again, Thank you. With a combined post count of 12,463 I feel fairly certain that you five represent the soul of this forum, and your karma is very good indeed. As far as "relaxing", I am very relaxed; I live in paradise and strive for harmony in a world of conflict; so, no worries :) I look very forward to learning from all of you. I do have 14,000 questions, and it is wonderful to know that they are welcome, answered else where or not. I will post the first shortly, in the proper forum.

Welcome, and these guys are some of the core group, but there are many others here that can answer your questions satisfactorily. I think that Yooperbrew even has more posts than all these guys combined!

Remember, there are usually many ways to do most things, and not everyone does it all the same. Lots of equipment and ingredient options to choose from.

Have fun, and RDWHAHB!

You added up everyone's post count???

Ignore laughing gnome....his Karma is pretty bad and his postcount reflects very little brewing wisdom. :D

Welcome. :mug:

Personally, I ignore everyone else's advice and only follow Gnomes. He's a mentor, a scholar, a leader, and a true inspiration.

For example, when he told me to to purposefully infect my beer because it would teach me to be more careful, I did it without hesitating. I recommend you do the same.

Oh no, you didn't stick your wang in the primary did you? :D
