Hello - new to homebrew in Overland Park, KS

Hey everyone. I just picked up a starter equipment kit from Midwest Supply via a recent groupon. It seemed like a good deal. I have always wanted to try brewing at home. My old college roommate back in the nineties homebrewed and it looked like a lot of fun.

Well now that my kids have finally moved out of the house, I have some time to focus on trying my hand at homebrew. The groupon was just a great way to get started. Will be trying an Irish Red Ale to start!
