I'm new to AG...I want to purchase a decent barley mill...anyone recommend one they like and have used?

Thanks
Joe

I literally brewed my first AG batch this past Sunday, and I ordered a "barley crusher" malt mill: http://www.barleycrusher.com/, you can get them online for as little as $152 w/shipping, maybe less, but that is as low as I could find them.

Great crush, I was able to get an 81% efficiency w/ its default .039 setting from my first AG!:rockin:

That would be my suggestion for the value and pricing.

I to have a "barley crusher" malt mill. Its really pricey for what you are getting. Its built like a piece of poo in my opinion but its gets the job done. If i had it to do over i would buy a higher end mill. One that will last and that is built a little tougher.

Cheap corona mill...some love em...some don't. They are tough, around 8-10 pounds of poorly cast iron.

I have had good results w/ mine, but of course, like most things in life. results vary w/ the user.

FWIW, Barley Crusher malt mills have a lifetime warranty.
