Have loved good beer for a while, grew up with Bell's with in walking distance, now I live closer to Founders and vacation every year 5 mins from Shorts...god bless West Michigan. Just now getting focused on brewing my own. I have a case of home brewed heavy on the all centennial IPA in the cellar, waiting for a couple more weeks before I can try it. Can't stop thinking about hops. I'm trying to figure out what kind of hops I should grow around my house. Will probably focus on making IPA's,DIPA's and TRIPA's.
Definitely going to grow Cascade, and will have an unlimited free supply to Chinook and Centennial, beyond that, not sure what else from an IPA standpoint I should grow in West Mi.
