Hi Folks,
First post here! Been a beer lover for some time now but only got interested in brewing my own when visiting my sister-in-law's farm in Sorrento, BC. The owner of the property is the master brewer for Crannog Ales:
Crannóg Ales - Certified Organic Ales brewed on-farm in British Columbia
I spent some time sampling their beer, touring the property (they grow all their own hops) and checking out the brewery. Had some very tasty beer and speaking with Brian was really interesting. I got home, ordered a copy of "How to Brew" (anxiously awaiting arrival in the mail) and will begin to digest the vast amount of information here. I'm quite excited about getting started and look forward to learning from all of you and documenting my own experience.
Cheers!
Gareth
