Hi, I am just getting back into brewing after a 22 year hiatus...Life happened but I'm glad to be back and I love how it's grown. I've got 5 batches under my belt now. 1 extract and 4 all grain. I love making my own beer and learning all the tricks that make the beer better. I am paying more attention to fermentation temps now and will start using starters as soon as I get the equipment.. My favorite type of beer is red ale. I have been a fan of Red Nectar since I first tasted it. I have also been using the seasons to my advantage, summertime - brew a Belgian due to higher temps...etc...
Anyway, that's about it for now. Hoping to be able to keg my beer at some point soon because bottling sucks...

I had a 16 year hiatus. When I started back, I felt like Rip Van Winkle. I imagine it's the same for you. I think Star San was the most life changing for me - I used bleach in the early days.
Welcome.
