Hello all and Thank you so much for the information that I've read here and used to help me brew my first batch of Caribou Slobber. I gained so much experience from so many that it went almost flawlessly. I don't remember who gave the advise to document everything but that will allow me not to make the same mistake which was very minor. My mistake was forgetting to take my OG. I guess I just won't know my ABV :drunk:
Either way, looking forward to this great new hobby and some awesome HB!
Thanks again!:mug:

Howdy! My parents used to own a plot in Rio Rancho Estates, but have since died & we sold it. Been out there before. Great veiw of snow capped Sierra Nevadas with the Rio Grande from the back yard.
Anyway, you should still take FG readings to confirm a stable FG before packaging.

Welcome to the forums neighbor! I'm also in Rio Rancho.

This forum has helped me through a lot of questions and unsure moments as well. I agree with unionrdr, I would still take FG readings to be sure your fermentation has stopped before bottling/kegging.

I will be very patient before taking FG. I'll be brewing 2 more batches so they all are born on or around jan. 31st. Got almost everything I need for the keezer build except Coornies but have located used available at our LHBS. Again, Thanks for the welcomes and advice! :mug:
