Hello from Powhatan, VA

I'm a fairly new brewer. I think I am in the middle of my 5th. home brew. Looking forward to learning from the wealth of knowledge here.

Howdy neighbor, there are quite a few of us virginia folks in here. Welcome to the site and the obsession! Whatcha been brewing up?

Ijust started in February 2010 and just brewed my 5th. batch. I seem to be addicted to brewing.

My first was a English IPA. Then I brewed a few clones Northcaost Old Rasputen Imperial Stout, Avery Maharaja - Imperial IPA, Stone Arrogant Bastard and Stone Ruination IPA. The latter two are for the beach week at the end of July.

Nowe I need suggestions on what to brew next. Guess I should start thinking about Fall and Winter brews.

when the brew bug bites, he bites hard eh? Its a great hobby! There have been years where I only brew a few batches the entire year, then there have been years where I brew pretty much twice a month. Either way, theres nothing quite like going out to the shed, pulling the tap handle and filling the glass with your own brew.

What to brew next? Well, I'm heading the the World Beer Festival next weekend to do a little recon for just that reason. I'll be helping move and setup the 500+ cases of beer, 200 1/2 barrel kegs, 6 tons of ice, and 300 gallons of water!

You gotta be sh*ttin me, I'm in powhatan too. This town is growing but it isn't that big, did you go to school there? I did all my life, graduated in '03
