I am a newbie here. Just started brewing a little over 3 weeks ago with a Mr. Beer kit i got for Christmas. I brewed my first batch and was fun so I borrowed my brother in Laws so now i have 2 batches brewing at a time, I got 5 different flavors for Christmas. This past Friday i picked up a kit with a 10 gallon SS pot from my local supply store and made my first batch of Malt with grain. Is going to be a Stone IPA. I am buying a second fermenter this Friday and starting a second batch. Moving first batch into a secondary fermenter. I'm hooked.
Please feel free to drop me a message if you happen to be experienced and looking to take someone under your wings. I'm sure i will have many questions in the future going from Malt to all grain. Probably will start with BIAB. Thanks to the internet, i have hit a few obstacles already in my first try and over came them, hopefully successful. I put my wort in a fermenter with a air lock and 2 days later it started to come out the top. Replaced it with a tube into a bottle of water. things are fine now.
