Hello everyone. At the beginning of this year I started making mead and have already gone down the rabbit hole of finding new recipes and planning out seasonal flavors. I started off with the basics, a traditional and a cyser. And since I had another carboy lying around I decided to give tea a try. Honestly the version made with tea was the most enjoyable. Ready to start trying new recipes and learn how to balance flavors.

You might be enjoying the tannins from tea. Lots of ways to go about it, but I like to age my meads on a bit of oak for the same reason.
