Hi all, new to the forum. I started home brewing about 5-6 years ago when I lived in Reno, Nevada. I stopped about four years ago when I moved back to Milwaukee area and the wife didn't tolerate the extract brewing on the apartment stove. Final got back into this spring after a request again from family for some home brew and we purchased a house. Also helps that I work about four blocks from the new NB store in Milwaukee.
Found this site by google searching about various things. This forum gave me so much help that I decided to switch to all-grain brewing a couple of weeks ago after a few DIY projects (mash tun, manifold and immersion chiller, Miller Light Home Draft 5L conversion, etc). I have my first all-grain fermenting (Cream Ale). Hope it turns out, missed my mash temps by quite a bit and ended with 5.5 gallons in fermenter and it was going crazy through the airlock for about 3 days.
Well I'm about to start my second all-grain batch (Irish red) in the next couple of days. I have to make sure my DIY Immersion Chiller doesn't leak and my washed yeast takes off and I should be good to go.
