I started brewing extract recipes around 2000. I had a lonnnnnnggg break in brewing when I was deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom and came back to the states and moved around the country looking for a place to settle. My brewing equipment was kept in storage in Ohio while we moved packing our belongings in our cars (wife and I).
I am now brewing all-grain recipes and presently I have a Dale's Pale clone in the fermenter and am waiting to use the yeast cake to brew a blonde ale that I plan to dry hop with chilis. I have been looking forward to a chili beer for years. Finally! What I really enjoy about brewing is tweaking the process and making beers that I love e.g. clones for example: Pliny the Elder (that's next!). And making beers that are new and unfamiliar like rye beers. Rye? Weird but interesting...
Anyway, cheers to all!
