Hi there! I'm new to the forums, fairly new to brewing. I've made it successfully through a total of about five all grain and partial mash batches (never done all extract). I've never brewed from a kit, but prefer to build my own batches from recipes with my own adjustments, and it's been interesting to see what's developed.

I picked up the hobby about five years ago while hanging out with a few folks from a microbrewery in Sacramento. I'm a chemical engineer by trade, and have carried that love for chemical process to my after work hours. I now spend most of my time fantasizing about what I'm going to make next, how to improve what I'm currently doing, and worrying about whether or not I have killed my current brew.

Been a frequenter of the forums whenever I need a question answered, but never had the thought to introduce myself until today! You all have saved my brew (and sanity) more than once. Nice to meet all of you! Treat me nicely, I might be dumb for my first few posts!
