Hello everyone. I'm a 23 year old, just getting into the great world of home brewing. To this day i have bottled one batch of red kolsch ale from extract, and it came out much better than i could have anticipated, and extremely satisfying as i uncapped the first bottle tonight. I currently have an amber light extract sitting in the fermenter going on 2 weeks now, and will look forward to bottling that in a week or two. I think i'll try and make the switch to all grain come spring/summer when i can put a burner outside to accommodate a larger kettle. So far it has been a blast, and a nice distraction to brew and bottle.

Lived on main street as a kid in batavia do the Mancuso's still own that town?

Haha, I didn't grow up here, and i guess i haven't payed much attention to the politics of batavia in the 3 years i've lived here. But mancuso's sounds very familiar... I almost think that is the name of the bowling alley off of TF Browns.
