Hello all, I'm new to brewing but not new to beer! For my 40th birthday my wife surprised me and took me to "Gallghers where you brew" in Edmonds Wa. The people there were awesome and walked me through the process of brewing my first 13 gallons of Scotch ale! It was awesome and the beer turned out great! I have given alot to friends and everyone was Very surprised at how it turned out. I have since bought a complete home brew setup and plan to start to do it from my home now! These forums have been great and I cannot wait to see how my first Solo batch turns out!

Welcome, Jeromy. I also first brewed (maybe 10 or 12 years ago) at a brew-on-premise place - did that a couple of times and then started doing it at home, just as you did. Good luck on your first solo batch!
