I cannot recommend How To Brew by John Palmer enough. It's online for free, or can be had from freebay for $10.

I finished that book in two days, along with weeks of googinling, and hours on here and the like.

Hopefully my first brew will come before the months end.

Northshore club is Mystic Krewe of Brew. They happen to be meeting in Slidell this month at Palmetto's On The Bayou. Tomorrow night (Thursday the 20th) at 7:30pm. I'm in the BR area so not in the club, but they're a good group of guys.
