I'm looking to do a hefeweizen with the flavor of lemon added. Has anyone done this? I was told to put in the lemon juice upon secondary fermentation but how much? 5gal batch
 
the problem with adding lemon juice is that it will pretty much just ferment out. if your looking for some lemon flavor i would add lemon zest to the last 5-10 min of the boil.

maybe try .50oz to 1oz

Ok, that seems like a good idea. I really wanted to get a very evident lemon flavor though...... could I add lemon juice late in the fermentation..... or just before bottling?
