I moved from Las Cruces up here to Rochester, MN :) buying a kit from Midwest Supplies and bring it to Las Cruces to father in law for Christmas, he just can't get ANYTHING really down there.

I WISH oh I WISH I had more room, I'd bring some stuff for everyone down there :)

Love having Midwest Supplies and Northern Brewer about an hour & 1/2 away.

Anyways, I will look around downthere, father in law has been brewing with a buddy who's very much into it, he will probably have some good ideas as to where you can get stuff from, I will ask around.

not sure it matter anymore, being that this last post is about a year old ...

I had to revive this old thread for those of us living in El Paso. Just wanted to let you guys know there is now a home brew shop here in town. Its on the westside by UTEP on Mesa and is called Primo's Craft Beer. I stopped by after work this afternoon, and while its not a huge selection, it could come in handy if you need something in a hurry. They have grains, hops, yeast, and some selection of equipment.

I work there, and am ordering everything for the home brew shop side of the store. Please let me know if there is anything in particular you would like to see. Also if you want anything in particular let us know we are going to have calendar showing our order dates. So if you want anything we do not have in stock we can special order it.

I have not been there, will have to check it out! Reliance Outdoor supply on the west side has great prices and they will order pretty much anything you want from their supplier!

Wow, it is good to know about that place. I travel frequently to El Paso and sometimes it is better just to pick up things I need instead of having to order everything online.

Looks like I'll be moving to El Paso shortly and am also trying to find brew stores. Currently live near Newport News and the places here are also slim, but adequate. Would be nice to have places I got spoiled on while living near Olympia, WA.
If anyone has recent knowledge on what's open, I'd like to hear current input.

El Paso home brewing on Rojas is awesome! They have lots of ingredients and their prices are very good. Brian is also doing a great job of ordering ingredients and equipment that is in demand and will take requests too. I pretty much go every weekend...

Good to know since I used most of my ingredients on my last brew in VA. Will definitely stop by to restock when I get there. Thanks!

Anyone been to Reliance outdoor supply off Doniphin near Sunland Park? They started selling Homebrew equipment and supplies, they are constantly growing their inventory and are willing to order stuff for you?

I haven't been to elpasohomebrewing yet, how long have they been here? Seems like when I got here there wasn't a LHBS anywhere in town, now I'm excited there are a couple!

Edit: saw the earlier post mentioning reliance now... DOH!

I stopped by Reliance a few days ago on one of my thousand trips to the recycle center to get rid of boxes. Looks like they have basic supplies if you need a run-of-the-mill ingredient (2-row, cascade hops...) nothing fancy, but enough to keep you going. They also have a sheet to write in anything you want to see them carry. Prices looked good. Not great, not outlandish. About par.

Stopped by El Paso Home Brewing Supply today. Brian was a great help and really friendly guy. He's got a lot of good ideas for the store and really good prices. Highly recommend this place!

There is a new home Brew Shop in El Paso!!! It’s on the east side past home depot off lee Trevino, next to airmix welding supply in the red/grey store/warehouse building 11426 Rojas Dr, suite A10. AND IT IS AWESOME!!! They have everything yeast, hops, grains, equipment, kegging stuff, they even fill co2 tanks.
