HBT on Iphone

Plus sign means it's a "universal" app. One download with multiple versions inside. Which device you run it on (iphone vs. ipad) determines which version of the app is run.

I had to chose iPad to get this version. This is great, I like the look of the site using the app..

If you have a droid, you might want to try Dolphin HD browser. You can emulate a desktop computer from it and surf HBT (or any other forums) just like on your PC.

The app is nice, but I prefer it on dolphin. Just letting people know it's out there, not trying to crap on anyone's parade.

I don't think it works with the 1st generation iPhone. If you have one I'd bet that is the problem.

It is a common issue with first gen iPhones. There's quite a few mentions in the Mobile Site Thread where this was brought talked about.

Go with AT&T, then you can talk on speaker phone and still use the app.

Why wouldn't you be able to do that with verizon? Can you not run apps in the backround on verizon?

You can't talk and use data at the same time with Verizon

I have the same phone. Maybe it has to do with the phone being jailbroken?

Yup, first generation phone here. Won't open even on wifi. Sent Tx a MSG. Hope there is an update for that

If you have first generation iPhone and loaded the HBT app. Go to updates and load the update.

Then need to follow directions and login.

It will take some getting used to, but already much easier on my eyes

The site works really well on my Nexus One but I'll give the app a shot I guess.
