I have a two quart jug with fresh wort just starting to bubble. Harvested from Bell's Oberon, to use in my Two Hearted Ale clone next weekend. So should I decant this wort and add new starter wort on Thursday,. Plan to brew Saturday?

how many bottles did you use to capture the yeast? I would wait till the krausen drops (hopefully this doesn't take too long), crash cool, decant and add new wort to step up your starter. Pitch the new starter at high krausen or crash and decant again as you see fit.

Used 3 bottles of Oberon in two quarts of wort. Was thinking it might be good to cold crash, decant and add two more quarts of fresh wort on Thursday and cold crash, decant and pitch that yeast on Saturday. Not sure exactly how much yeast I am going to have.
